Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Christian Life Center | Pennsville, NJ based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
The Scriptures Inspired
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, revealing His truth to humanity and serving as the ultimate guide for faith and life. It is higher than human opinion and understanding, yet never in conflict with true reason.
(2 Tim.3:15-16 ; 1 Peter 2:2)
(2 Tim.3:15-16 ; 1 Peter 2:2)
The One True God
We believe in one true God, eternally self-existent and self-revealed as the great “I AM.” He has revealed Himself as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who exist in perfect unity and eternal relationship.
(Duet. 6:4 ; Mark 12:29 ; Isa. 43:10 ,11
Matt 28:19 ; Luke 3:22)
(Duet. 6:4 ; Mark 12:29 ; Isa. 43:10 ,11
Matt 28:19 ; Luke 3:22)
Man, His Fall Redemption
We believe humanity was created good and upright in God’s image. Through voluntary sin, mankind fell, and our only hope for redemption is found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
(Gen. 1:26-31 ; Gen. 1-7 ; Rom. 5:12-21)
(Gen. 1:26-31 ; Gen. 1-7 ; Rom. 5:12-21)
The Salvation of Man
We believe salvation is made available to all through the grace of God, revealed through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are made new, justified by grace through faith, and become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Titus 2:22; Rom. 10:13-15 ; Luke 24:47 ; Titus 3:5-7)
The inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Holy Spirit within the believer. The outward evidence is a life marked by righteousness and true holiness.
(Rom. 8:16 )
(Titus 2:22; Rom. 10:13-15 ; Luke 24:47 ; Titus 3:5-7)
The inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Holy Spirit within the believer. The outward evidence is a life marked by righteousness and true holiness.
(Rom. 8:16 )
Marriage

(Eph. 5:25-32 )
(Eph. 5:25-32 )
Baptism in Water
We believe water baptism by immersion is an ordinance commanded in Scripture for all who have repented and placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is an outward expression of an inward transformation, symbolizing cleansing from sin and new life in Christ. Through baptism, believers declare that they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

(Matt. 28:19 ; Acts 10:47-48 ; Rom. 6:4 ; Acts 20:21 ; Heb. 10:22)
The Lord's Supper
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a special time where we remember what Jesus has done for us. Through the bread and the cup, we reflect on His sacrifice, celebrate the life we have in Him, and look forward to His return. This is something all believers are called to practice until He comes again.
(2 Peter 1:4 ; 1 Cor. 11:26)
(2 Peter 1:4 ; 1 Cor. 11:26)
The Promise of the Father
We believe that every follower of Jesus can experience the promise of the Father — the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Just as in the early Church, this baptism fills believers with spiritual power for daily life and ministry. It brings new gifts and boldness for service and is a beautiful experience that comes after salvation.

Sanctification - Set Apart
We believe God calls every believer to a life of holiness. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are able to grow in obedience and reflect God’s character in our daily lives.
Entire sanctification is God’s desire for His people, and we pursue it by continually surrendering to Him and walking according to His Word.

The Church

We believe that Jesus Christ has established a divinely called and biblically grounded ministry to carry out His mission. This ministry exists to proclaim the gospel to the world and to build up, equip, and strengthen the body of Christ.

The Lake of Fire
We believe that there will be a final judgment in which the devil, his angels, the beast, the false prophet, and all whose names are not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death, a state of everlasting punishment and eternal separation from God.
